Description
Requirement: The United States Government currently occupies approximately 7,336 ANSI BOMA Usable Square Feet of contiguous office space and 1 parking spaces under a soon to expire lease in December, 2008. The Government is considering a competition for alternative office space and will relocate if a consideration of the economics and other factors involved are supportive. The cost of moving, alterations and occupant agency mission, among other items, will be considered in evaluating the alternative. This is an inquiry for available space and is not to be construed as an invitation to bid. Delineated Area: North: Peck Street as it extends East to Pleasant St; Pleasant St as it extends North to Forest St; Forest St as it extends to Brook St East: Brook St South: 3rd St as it extends to School St West Dean St as it runs eastwardly to North Main St. North: Main St as it extends to North to Peck St. Term: The Government is interested in a lease proposal of 10 years, 7 years firm. Occupancy:Space must be available by May 1, 2009 Owners & Authorized Agents: Expressions of interest, must include at a minimum; rental quotes based on a fully serviced lease (including all utilities and cleaning), building address, date of availability, floor size, parking arrangements, and be submitted in writing to the following address within 10 calendar days of the posting of this inquiry The space must meet requirements for handicapped access in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and must include all services and utilities. Submission by other than the owner or manager of a property must be accompanied by a letter from the ownership granting permission to make a general offering of space. In instances where the offeror is representing more than one property, the offeror is hereby notified that they may only participate in negotiations on behalf of one owner.
