- The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis the following: 1) Pulsed Quantum Cascade Laser System, Model 1101-46-P-1000 with integrated power supply (Quantity - 1 each).This requirement is SOLE SOURCED to Pranalytica, Inc., 1101 Colorado Avenue, Santa Monica, CA 90401-3009, due to unique capabilities. Pranalytica Inc. is the only known supplier of high power quantum cascade lasers producing more than 1 Watt of optical power at 4.6 microns having a near-Gaussian profile. Any firms believing that they can provide this material may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice. It must clearly show the firm's ability to do so without compromising the quality, accuracy, and reliability of the data or without causing programmatic hardship to the program.
