- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City, Florida intends to solicit Motion Control Systems, Inc. (MCS), New River Industrial Park, PO Box 115, New River, VA 24129 on a sole source basis. MCS will perform those test, inspection, and repair actions necessary to return the motor to full operational status. These motor and controller assemblies incorporate design elements that are proprietary to Motion Control Systems, and the government does not possess the rights in data that would be necessary to permit any other contractor to perform this effort. This requirement is 100% set aside for small businesses. The resultant order will be a firm fixed price purchase order. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 335312, and the FSC Code is 2090, and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The closing date to submit quotes is March 04 2009. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to NSWC PCD, 110 Vernon Avenue, Panama City, FL 32407. The ! Department of Defense will no longer award contracts to contractors not registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database.
