- The U.S. Department of Commerce, National Weather Service (NWS), is in need of a Contractor that provide all materials, tools, and supervision necessary for the replacement of parking lot lighting fixtures at the NWS Weather Forecast Office located at 6900 W Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN. SCOPE The Contractor shall provide all materials, tools, and supervision for the replacement of Parking Lot light fixtures. CONTRACTOR SUPPLIED MATERIALS 1. (5) 250 Watt, Metal Halide Fixtures 2. (5) Light pole base covers (Cover color to match existing). DESCRIPTION OF WORK 1. Remove existing Parking Lot light heads and dispose of same. 2. Install New 250 Watt, Metal Halide Fixtures. 3. Remove existing light pole base covers and dispose of same. 4. Install New light pole base covers. DEFINITION OF WORK AREA 1. Parking Lot The performance period for this project will be 60 days for the date the Notice to Proceed is issued. Any business capable of completing this project is encouraged to respond to this announcement within 10 calendar days after publication of this notice. The NAICS code for this action is 238210. This service is being procured under the guidelines of FAR Part 12, Commercial Acquisition Procedures. The Central Region Acquisitions Division requires that all contractors doing business with the Acquisition Office must be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). In order to register with the CCR and to be eligible to receive an award from this acquisition office, all offerors must have a Dun & Bradstreet Number (DUN).
