- The U.S. Department of Commerce, National Weather Service (NWS), is in need of a Contractor that provide all materials, tools, and supervision of qualified personnel for installing a concrete ramp with sidewalk and metal culvert located behind the Corp. of Engineer's building at Hermitage, MO. The concrete work is for the ramp to the Hydrogen storage unit, which belongs to NWS at this location. Site location address is 254 Hwy. & Pomme De Damm, Hermitage, MO 65668. DESCRIPTION: The Contractor Shall: 1. Remove existing soil and sod to a depth of 8 inches and place gravel fill to a sub-grade of 6 inches for placement of 6 inches of finish concrete. 2. The soil to be used later to dress-up area around sidewalk with seed and straw. 3. Install 6 inches of gravel to be placed below metal culvert in ramp area filled over with gravel at a sub-grade of 6 inches to receive a finish level of 6 inches of concrete. 4. Landing area of fuel tanks to be 4 foot wide and a depth of 6 inches of concrete. 5. Install # 5 rebar around existing concrete slab every 16 inches. 6. All voided areas will receive CA-6 gravel as a sub-grade fill to bring to a depth of 6 inches for 6 inches of concrete. Before digging please call MO. 1 DIGS The performance period for this project will be 60 days for the date the Notice to Proceed is issued. Any business capable of completing this project is encouraged to respond to this announcement within 10 calendar days after publication of this notice. The NAICS code for this action is 238110. This service is being procured under the guidelines of FAR Part 12, Commercial Acquisition Procedures. The Central Region Acquisitions Division requires that all contractors doing business with the Acquisition Office must be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR).
