- A Request for Quote for the following will be posted on FBO.GOV after the date of March 17, 2009. All interested vendors will then be given a date that the quote will be due. Contractor to provide all labor, material and equiipment necessary to provide a York 30 ton package roof top heating/cooling system to roof on Building 5845, (Special Housing Unit), at the Federal Correctional Institution, Fort Dix, New Jersey. This unit will be part of a 2 unit system and must interface with the existing unit- York Mdl D25c36056017ECA Sepcification on Unit: -Millennium Rooftop Package Unit and Accessorites -York 30 ton package rooftop unit -R410a -End Return front supply -208/3/60 -Constant Volume forward curve class on 15 HP ultra high efficiency supply fan -1" deflection -Condensor Oil -Hot gas bypass -Std Evaporator coil -Zero degree low ambient package -2" pleated filters -Single enthaply economizer -York Synthesis controller with factory disconnect and convenience outlet -No other translator included. -Stainless steel drainpan -Standard Cabinet -Field installed barometric relief damper for the horizontal return air duct -York Synthesis to palm interface tool -N2 communications card -5 year compressor parts warranty -Unit shall be rated by the mfr at a minimum 9.5 EER -Unit will be fully charged with R22 refrigerant -Unit shall carry both ETL and CGA safety approval rating -Tags and decals to aid in the service or indicate caution areas shall be provided -Maintenance manuals shall be supplied with each unit -Unit shall be capable of providing mechanical cooling down to 40 degree F -Unit shall be capable of starting and running at 120 degree F. Removal and Installation: Removal of the York Mdl D25C36056017ECA is the responsibility of the successful contractor. Contractor will move unit to a locations within the FCI to be determined at the time of removal. The old unit will remain the property of the Federal Correctional Institution. Installation of the new unit will be the responsibility of the successfull contractor. Removal of the existing unit and installation of the new unit is to the roof of a 3 story building, approximately 32' high. It is the contractors responsibility to remove the old unit and get new unit to the roof area. All work is perfomed within the secure area of the Federal Correctional Institution. D. INSTITUTION SECURITY All contractors to include sub-contractors must pass a background check in order to enter the institution. Contractor must comply with the security requirements as specified in Homeland Security Presidential Directive(HSPD12) copy attached. This package must be filled out completely by every contractor employee who will need to be on this job. The contractor agrees to adhere to all regulation prescribed by the institution for the secuirty, custody and conduct of inmates. The contractor shall attend an orientation program prior to assuming institution involvement. Reimbursement to the contractor for the time spent in the institution security/professional related training will be the responsibility of the contractor.
