- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command.This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request For Quotation (RFQ) number is N66604-09-Q-2300. NUWC Division Newport intends to award a firm fixed price contract for the following "Sole Make and Model, no substitution" supplies: 1.) (2 ea) Marconi 219-1006-000 Series II ESR-5000 seven(7)-slot 10/100/1000 modular chassis 2.) (8 ea) Marconi 219-0153-000 8-port L3 SII Gig Switch Module with GBIC Interfaces 3.) (2 ea) Marconi 219-0124-000 24-port L3 SII 100Base-FX module 4.) (64 ea) Marconi 213-1002-000 1000Base-SX Compliant GBIC (850mm), SC Connector. New parts are preferred, however, refurbished parts with warranty are acceptable. Please state warranty terms with your quote. Per the specifications outlined in NAVSEA drawing numbers 7348878P3. 7348878P4, 7348878P2 and 7348878P1 there is no fit, form, function replacement for CCA (boards) whose part numbers are 213-1002-000, 219-0124-000 and 219-0153-000 with Switch PN: 219-1006-000 all manufactured by Marconi. Required delivery is 30 days after award, F.O.B. Destination Naval Station Newport; Newport, RI. This is 100% set-aside for small business. NAICS code is 423430 Size standard is 100 employees. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-27. FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items applies. Evaluation will be in accordance with FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation--Commercial Items. Evaluation factors are technical capability, price and past performance. Each is equally important.
