Description

This acquisition will be issued in accordance with FAR Subpart 12 – Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13.5 – Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The planned solicitation will be 100% set aside for small business concerns. The NAICS code applicable to this acquisition is 532490 and the business size standard is $7,000,000. The Defense Distribution Depot Red River, TX (DDRT) requires a twelve (12) month lease on the following material handling equipment: 3 each - 4,000 or 5,000 lb. capacity forklift with 42” forks, LPG powered engines, side shift and pneumatic tires. 3 Each – 6,000 lb. capacity forklift with 42” or 48” forks, LPG powered engines, side shift and pneumatic tires. 1 Each – 10,000 lb capacity forklift with 72” forks, tire drive axle, 3 stage mast, LPG powered engines, side shift and pneumatic tires. The contractor shall deliver; perform all required maintenance for the duration of the lease, pick-up the forklifts after the lease ends. Estimated Request For Quote release date is the week of 16 March 2009.
