Description
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Office of Procurement Operations (OPO), on behalf of the Office of the Chief Human Capital Officer, intends to negotiate a sole-source purchase order with Diversity / Careers in Engineering & IT (Renard Communications, Inc) for a full page 4/color advertisement in the February / March issue of the Diversity Careers in Engineering & Technology Magazine. The advertisement service for this acquisition includes the following: 1. Distribution of the subject magazine at diversity conferences and minority career fairs- •Women’s Business Enterprise National Council, Salute to Women’s Business Enterprises, National Harbor, MD, March 26 •Cal State U – Northridge (CSUN) Center on Disabilities, 24th Annual International Technology and Persons with Disabilities Conference, Los Angeles, CA, March 16-21 •Diversity Career Fair, St. Louis, MO, March 11 •National Organization for the Professional Advancement of Black Chemists and Chemical Engineers (NOBCChE), 35th Annual Conference, St. Louis, MO, April 13-18 •Anita Borg Institute for women and Technology, Women of Vision Awards, San Jose, CA, April 30 2. Career link from the Diversity Careers “Careers” page to the appropriate page of DHS’ website; 3. Resume database service; and 4. Distribution at 50 regional and national minority technical job fairs and supplier diversity events sponsored by the National Association for the Advancement of colored People (NAACP), the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE), the National Urban League (NUL), Black Data Processing Associates (BDPA), the National Action Council for minorities in Engineering (NACME), Hispanic Engineer National Achievement Awards Conference (HENAAC), the Center on Disabilities / CSUN, the National Organization for the Professional Advancement of Black Chemists and Chemical Engineers (NOBCChE), Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). 5.
