- The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) intends to negotiate on a Sole Source Basis with Saba Software to procure the following services: Maintenance and Technical Support for Saba Centra Software Licensesto include: * Direct Customer Support- Direct Customer Support, whereby Saba Customer Support Engineers provide support to designated support contacts, via phone and Saba Customer support portal. * Customer Support Website (support.saba.com) - 24 hour access to Saba Customer Support Website with Saba product information, ability to report problems to Customer Support Engineers, and access to Saba Knowledge base. * Software Product Updates- Maintenance and Feature update releases. Fixes to errors and significant feature enhancements to help maintain the reliability and performance of the software. Period of Performance 02/27/2009 Through 11/29/2009. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received from interested parties will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. There is no solicitation available for this requirement. This requirement will be awarded through the Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR Part 13. The closing date for this requirement is February 25, 2006, 2:00pm EST.
