- This is a pre-solicitation notification for a 37th Contracting Squadron, Lackland AFB, Texas, requirement for multimedia services. An electronic solicitation for this requirement is anticipated to be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fbo.gov around or about 25 February 2009. The successful offeror/contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, transportation, etc., necessary to perform Multimedia services for Department of Defense Multimedia requirements at Lackland AFB, Texas. The contractor shall provide all materials, supervision, transportation, equipment and labor to perform Multimedia Services for 37 TRW/PAM at Lackland AFB, as described previously and in accordance with (IAW) the performance work statement (PWS). This includes Multimedia Systems Management, Multimedia Systems Administration, Base Multimedia Advisory Assistance, Graphic Art Service, Self Help Graphics, Self Help Image Archive, Graphics Products, Satellite Multimedia Support Operations - Training Group Advance Technologies Support, Video Production/Combat Camera Support, 37 TRW Conference Room Presentation/VTC Support, Defense Language Institute English Language Center (DLIELC) Support, 737 Training Group (737 TRG) Academics Multimedia Support. Additionally, photographic services which includes: Location Photography, Studio Photography, Passport and Citizenship Photography, Special Duty Assignment (SDA) Photography, Alert Photographer Service, Hometown News Photography, Photographic Processing, Self Help Camera Program. Also, Hometown News (HTN) Image Sets, Equipment Maintenance - includes repairs such as all preventive maintenance inspections, disassembly, adjustments, calibration, replacement of owner provided parts and reassemble of projection equipment, and television and video equipment. The successful contractor shall comply with the requirements of the performance-based work statement, which will be included in the anticipated solicitation. Work is described as multimedia services that are performed in accordance with commercial standards. The North American Standard Industry Classification System (NAICS) code anticipated for this acquisition is 541430 with an associated small business dollar size standard of $7 Million. This requirement will be set-aside as an 8(a) competitive acquisition. The anticipated performance period is 12 calendar months starting the first day of the month after the date of award, which includes a base year and four (4) 1-year option periods. However, there is no guarantee that the option periods will be exercised. This acquisition is contingent upon availability of government funding. All responsible offerors may submit proposals in response to the anticipated solicitation, and all submissions will be considered. All offerors must be registered at the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) website at www.ccr.gov, the On-Line Representations and Certifications (ORCA) website at www.bpn.gov, and have a tax identification number and a Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number.
