- This is a presolicitation notice for the Directorate of Contracting at Fort Carson Colorado; we anticipate issuing a solicitation for the operation of storing Privately Owned Vehicles (POV) on 11 March 2009. Work will include but is not limited to the operation of a POV storage facility to receive, inprocess/outprocess, inspect, store, and provide minor maintenance to customers POVs. The Contractor shall be responsible for storage operations on an estimated 900 POVs at multiple separate locations provided by the Government in Pueblo, Colorado. A Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract will be awarded to the offeror that provides a proposal that best meets the Governments requirement. Evaluation criteria, basis for contract award, and proposal due dates will be provided as part of the solicitation package. The anticipated period of performance will consist of a base period of performance plus two option periods of performance, should the Government choose to exercise the options. This procurement is set aside for total 100 percent small business concerns. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 493110 and the small business size standard is $23.3 Million. All prospective offerors must have a Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE Code) and be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov. This is not a solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available at the Governmentwide Point of Entry at http://www.fbo.gov/ and https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi.
