- Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) intends to award on a sole source basis a contract, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, to AAR Mobility Systems, 201 Haynes Street, Cadillac, MI. The Government intends to procure 24 handle sets and stairs to modify the Direct Support Electrical System Test Set (DSESTS) shelter. The handles must be compatible with NSN: 4933-01-560-6595. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No formal solicitation package is available. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in responding to this notice, however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to meet the requirements by submitting a white paper, technical data for the item, and past performance data no later than 4:00pm local time on March 11, 2009. All documents should be submitted to Stasia Baker, Contract Specialist, Marine Corps Systems Command at stasia.baker@usmc.mil. A determination by the Government not to compete t! his proposed effort on a full and open basis is solely within the discretion of the Government, but all submissions will be considered prior to award. No telephone calls will be accepted.
