- THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number M67001-09-Q-0051 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-29-Amendment-1. The Federal Supply Classification (FSC) is 8465. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 339999 and the small business size standard is 500 Employees. This acquisition is being conducted in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. II Marine Expeditionary Forces (II MEF), 2nd Marine Regiment, Headquarters Company, Camp Lejeune, NC have a requirement for one point slings and adapter! s. This procurement is 100% Set Aside for Small Business and a "BRAND NAME OR EQUAL" procurement. The manufacturer's name and part/model number have been provided to describe equipment deemed minimally capable of satisfying the Government's requirement. The manufacturers name and part number is provided only to assist potential offerors in understanding the government's requirements. The Government is not soliciting or suggesting a particular name brand and will consider offers for any brand that fulfills the governments need. The Contractor shall provide all supplies F.O.B. destination. Location of the Government site is aboard Camp Lejeune, North Carolina and will be identified on the contract. Submission of quote shall include the following: (1)Technical Capability: Will be based on if the products provided meet the minimum specifications, if equal to items are being provided the vendor must provide, part numbers, manufacturer, origin of the manufacturer, and the specifications of the equal to item; (2) Past Performance: (not more than 3 years old) similar in scope and size. Include POC, contract number, delivery/period of performance, and contract amount. (3) Delivery: Specify a delivery date for supplies being offered; and (4) Price: All pricing quoted shall be FOB Destination. The award will be made to the vendor that proves to be overall the best value to the government. Pursuant to FAR 52.212-2, the criteria for evaluation are: (1) Technical Capability; (2) Past Performance; (3) Delivery; & (4) Price.
