- Notice to Intent to Award a Sole Source Contract The Contracting Center of Excellence (CCE), on behalf of the Department of Defense Office of the Inspector General (DoD OIG), intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (C)(1) far 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(B) Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, to Information Handling Services, Inc., 15 Inverness Way East, Englewood, CO 80155-6720 to provide a one-year subscription to Information Handling Services (HIS), Inc. for Haystacks Gold package, a license that will permit web-based access to parts and logistics management database. This action will result in a Firm-Fixed Price contract with a Period of Performance of twelve (12) months after award. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive proposals. There is no solicitation document. No RFP will be available for competitive proposals. Interested parties may express their interest and provide a capabilities statement NLT Feb 27, 2009 at 9 AM EST. A determination not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government.
