- THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 3 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FORFABRICATION AND IMPLEMENTATION OF THE REDESIGNED COMBUSTION BURNER NOZZLE THROAT SECONDARY AIR MIXING CHAMBER AND TEST SECTION.Companies shall acknowledge allamendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subjectsynopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not be issued.The purpose of this amendment is to answer questions that were asked before the due date.1. Question: What Contract type is being considered for award? Answer: Firm-Fixed-Price2. Question: Will you consider an extension to the due date for our response? With aresponse date of March 11, 2009. If the drawings are delivered by Tuesday February 24,2009 we only have ten working days to obtain requires quote from vendors. As a normalcourse of business it would take 4 to 6 weeks for proper quotes from our vendors. Answer: The due date for proposals is March 27, 2009.3. Question: 3. There is still a discrepancy in due dates on Amendment 2. The currentresponse date in the General Information section stated March 27, 2007. In theDescription Section, paragraph 4 you state the due date for submission of quotes is March11, 2009. Please clarify. Answer: The due date is March 27, 2009.4. Question: In the online RFQ Section 03., ADDITIONAL INSTRUCTIONS TO QUOTERS RFQ,States, A list of references who can verify the outcome of the work shall be included.See Appendixes A&B for format and letter. Please clarify what Appendixes A & B areappendixes of.Answer: Appendixes' A&B will be posted with this modification.The due date for receipt of offers is March 27, 2009. Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the NASAAcquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on 2/10/2009. Documents related to this procurementare available over the Internet. These documents reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) serverwhich may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
