- This requirement is to Drydock the T.S. STATE OF MICHIGAN to complete the following repairs in accordance with the statement of work which includes TANK CLEANING, TUBE REPAIRS; INSTALLATION OF THE TANK LEVEL SENSOR; CALIBRATION OF THE SWITCHBOARD METER; INSTALLATION OF VALVES AND VENTS; REPAIR OF RESCUE BOAT; HULL PREPARATION AND COATING; ANCHOR CHAIN PRESERVATION; PROPELLER INSPECTION; AND OTHER SHIP REPAIR REQUIREMENTS. The vessel is located in Traverse City, Michigan. On completion of the summer cruise on or about May 8, 2009 the vessel will be sailed to the awardee's shipyard. The proposed contract will be performed while the ship is in Drydock at the Awardee's shipyard. A solicitation with the complete statement of work will be issued as soon as possible and a proposed ship check date will be on or about March 11, 2009.
