- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement FM485283150010 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-30. The NAICS for this solicitation is 423450. The size standard for a small business under this NAICS code is 100 employees. This is a commercial request for Surgical Lights. Salient characteristics are as follows: The surgical lights must be able to mount to our existing Masco Polaris light system and be able to install after 1700 (5:00 pm PST) with minimal contamination to the operating rooms. The vendor will remove old lights and do all the installation. As well, the vendor will be able to use the existing boom mount and conduit from the existing system. The light must be pure white light with the ability to achieve 160,000 LUX. It also needs to have a large diameter and have reduced heat on the surgical field. The operating rooms will not close during the installation, it must be performed in the evening and be able to re-open no later than 0600 (6:00 am PST). The Stryker Visum LED lights are the only LED Operating room lighting that can be controlled by and be fully interoperable with Stryker's propriety integrated computerized operating room control system Isuite.
