- The VA VISN 22 Network 22 Logistics Office, Long Beach California intends to enter into a sole source contract with SMITH SECKMAN REID, INC. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation issued; a separate written solicitation will NOT be issued. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1-only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, incorporates provisions and clauses as those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-16. A justification for other than full and open competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. Request for Quotation (RFQ) is VA-262-09-RQ-0175ES. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 541612. The VA Los Angeles Healthcare System requires Custom Evaluation and consultation to include Joint Commission Accreditation standards for environment of care that will take place over three visits in 90 day continuous compliance cycles. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The closing date for this action is 4:00 PM Pacific Standard Time Thursday, March 12, 2009. Information received shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation document other than this exists and no telephone inquiries shall be accepted.
