Description

United States Transportation Command Sources Sought Synopsis Intelligent Road and Rail Information System (IRRIS) Hardware in Support of End to End (E2E) Visualization THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS ANNOUNCEMENT, A MARKET SURVEY FOR INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OR QUOTE. PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF A SOLICITATION, AS ONE DOES NOT CURRENTLY EXIST. NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS SYNOPSIS OR ANY FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION REQUESTS. THE PURPOSE OF THIS SYNOPSIS IS TO ACCESS THE MARKET’S CAPABILITY AND TO GAIN KNOWLEDGE OF POTENTIALLY QUALIFIED SMALL BUSINESSES. 1. Small business interests shall note the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 19, North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code and Small Business Size Standard for the requirement identified in this announcement. The anticipated NAICS code is 334111 and the small business size standard is 1,000 employees. 2. The United States Transportation Command, located at Scott AFB IL, is considering issuing a solicitation for the purchase and delivery of the items located on the attachment 1. (Note: Only BRAND NEW items are acceptable. Refurbished items are not acceptable.) 3. The Government contemplates award of a single, firm-fixed price contract for this potential requirement. Delivery would be within 45 calendar days of the receipt of award. 4. Interested sources should submit the following information in response to this Sources Sought Synopsis: a. Company Name, Address, Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Number, Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code Number, and Business Size: HUBZone Small Business, Small Business, Veteran-Owned Small Business, Serviced-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, Woman-Owned Small Business, or Large Business. b. State whether items can be obtained under an existing Government wide agency contract (i.e. GSA, VA, etc.). If so, please include contract number and contract expiration date. c. A clear indication, to be provided on attachment 1, as to whether or not your company is capable of providing the items matching the description and part number, the quantity of each item your company is capable of providing, whether or not each item is considered “commercial” as defined at Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 2.101, and the date your company is capable of delivering each item. 5.
