- Description
- The VAMC Walla Walla, WA intends to award a sole source contract to Qwest Government Services, Inc, 1004 17th Street, Suite 1630, Denver, CO to provide installation and monthly service for ISDN PRI Voice Circuits. The NAICS code for the procurement is 517210 "Wireless Telecommunications Carriers (except Satellite)" with a size standard of 1500 employees. The Government believes that only Qwest Government Services, Inc can provide the installation and services of these IP network telephone circuits within the Walla Walla and surrounding areas. This is a sole source procurement under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures, 38 U.S.C. 8153 and Other Than Full and Open Competition (FAR 6.302-1). This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotes however; any firm that believes that it can provide the installation and monthly services that are 100% fully compatible with the VA integrated standardization dial plan, which calls for all sites to be converted to a standard ISDN PRI for primary telephone connectivity, may give written notification to the Contracting Officer, VAMC Walla Walla, 77 Wainwright Dr, Walla Walla, WA 99362., no later than 12:00 PM PDT, February 27, 2009. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail, to the above listed address, to Jackie Merriman, Contracting Officer. Responses can also be e-mailed to jackie.merriman@va.gov or faxed to (509) 534-3473. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, VA will proceed with the sole source award to Qwest Government Services, Inc.
