- Description
- The Government intends to execute an unrestricted procurement for Gaseous Helium, Type 1, (GHe), IAW MIL-PRF-27407C dated 29 Nov 2006, NSN: 9135-00-890-2011. The contract ordering period will be from 1 May 2009 through 2 Oct 2009. The product will be delivered FOB Origin into customer-owned ISO containers and transported by GOV to Port Puget Sound, WA. The total estimated contract quantities for this period are: 576 MC (MC =1000cf). The resultant contract will be a five-month firm fixed-price requirements-type contract. Offerors are required to have the capability to support bulk shipments. Subject solicitation will be issued on or about 26 Feb 2009 and posted to the FedBizOpps web page at www.fedbizopps.gov. Due to the short lead time before the start of the POP, we expect to allow no more than 3 weeks for the submittal of offers. If you do not have Internet access, a hard copy of the solicitation may be requested. Only written, emailed, or faxed requests for solicitation received directly from the requestor are acceptable.
