- Contractor to provide all labor and materials to complete Project 568-09-201 HVAC Corrections Bldg 3 and 6A at the VA Black Hills Health Care System, Hot Springs, SD. Construction work will consist of installing an air handling system to provide heating and cooling and will replace the existing air handling systems in Building 3 and 6A. Building 3 has three floors and attic spaces with each level having approximately 6,143 square feet. 6A is the second floor of Building 6 and has approximately 6,143 square feet. Construction estimate is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. This procurement is set aside for small businesses. Applicable NAICS code is 238220 Plumbing, Heating and Air-Condition Contractors. Plans and specifications will be available approximately March 20, 2009. Requests for bidding documents must be in writing and addressed to the attention of the Contracting Officer. A $100.00 refundable deposit is required for the plans and specifications. Checks or money orders are to be made out to the attention of the "Agent Cashier" but forwarded to the attention of the Contracting Officer, (Log-Con-HS), 500 North 5th Street, Hot Springs, SD 57747. Bid opening has been set at April 22, 2009 at 3:00pm local Mountain Stanard time. This procurement is subject to the availabilty of funds.
