- The Coronado National Forest, Tucson, Arizona, is soliciting quotes (RFQ) for construction services required to rebuild approximately 7 miles of four strand barbed/smooth wire fence destroyed by wildfire near Greaterville on the Nogales Ranger District south of Tucson, Arizona. All fencing materials will be supplied by the Forest Service; however, the contractor shall be responsible for transporting materials to the site as well as removing and disposing of the old fencing. The proposed fence line is inaccessible by vehicle. This procurement is set-aside 100% for Small Businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 444190 and the size standard is 1000 employees. 3. This is a pre-solicitation notice only. The actual solicitation will be published on the Federal Business Opportunities website on or after March 9, 2009, and may be downloaded in its entirety from this website: https://www.fbo.gov/. Interested vendors who do not have internet access may request a hard copy of the solicitation by contacting Elisa Baca at 520-388-8336. A guided site visit will be conducted on March 18, 2009 and will require that interested vendors supply their own livestock to carry them to the site.
