- Scope of Work (Personal Services): The contractor shall provide Radiation Therapy Services at Wright-Patterson AFB Medical Center, also referred to as the "medical treatment facility" (MTF) herein. Contractor shall cover the range of services provided in a civilian medical treatment facility. Care shall be as comprehensive as Government supplied facilities, equipment, and support services permit, including all aspects of the delivery of external beam radiation therapy and brachytherapy. Performance shall be according to the requirements contained in the Performance Work Statement. In the even of non-availability of linear accelerator or other major equipment at the MTF due to maintenance, temporary equipment failure, etc., contract workers may be required to render services at an alternate facility. The proposed procurement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside; NAICS Code 621512, Size Standard $13.5M. Period-of-Performance is 1 Apr 09 through 30 Sep 09 and includes 4 options of 1 year each which may be awarded. 88 MDSS/SGSLAA anticipates a competitive acquisition for Clinical Radiation Oncology. Ther personnel required ar a Radiation Oncology Nurse, a Dosimetrist, and Radiation Therapy Technicians (one acting as Chief). The solicitation/RFP will be issued electronically and posted at www.fbo.gov. No hard copies will be issued for any reason. The RFP will be issued approximately 2 Mar 09 on FedBizOpps. Once the solicitation/RFP has been posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for updates to the documents. Mr. Howard Marks ahs been appointed as Ombudsman to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development. Accordingly, the Ombudsman does not participate in the preparationof solicitations, the evaluation of the proposals, or the source selection process.
