- A Request for Proposal(RFP) will be issued on an unrestricted basis with Other than Full and Open Competition under 10 USC 2304(c)(1), Unrestricted Procurement. Purchase Request 0020972761 authorizes this procurement. Contract type is a Firm-Fixed Price type contract. This item is currently sole source to BELL HELICOPTER INC., CAGE 97499, NSN 1615012568198, STRAP ASSEMBLY, MAIN ROTOR. In accordance with P/N 214-010-179-003. Specifications, plans, or drawings relating to the procurement are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. This solicitation is for a total quantity of 23 EA. The solicitation terms include FOB Origin, Inspection/Acceptance Origin. The delivery location for this procurement is TRACY CA and the delivery requested is 176days. This requirement is for DLA Direct. This item is an Navy Critical Safety Item. Any firm requesting a copy of this RFP will be provided a copy. Progress payments may not be authorized for this procurement. Cost and Pricing Data and Small Business Subcontracting Plan are not required as the requested quantity dollar value does not exceed the threshold. The solicitation issue date is March 6th, 2009. It is anticipated that this solicitation will result in a delivery order against an existing Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA). The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
