- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Texarkana, Texas, intends to issue solicitation RFQ# 51502-006-09, for the requirement of QUARTERLY SUBSISTENCE DRY & CANNED ITEMS, AND MEAT -. This is 100% small business set aside. The NAICS code for this requirement is 722310, which contains a size standard of number of employees not to exceed 500 employees. Offers will be FOB destination with delivery beginning on or about March 17, 2009. Deliveries will be made to Federal Correctional Institution, 4001 Leopard Dr. Texarkana Texas 75501. The contract type will be firm-fixed price. The Government will award to the responsible offeror(s) whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is considered to be most advantageous to the Government. Past performance and price will be considered with prices being rated higher than past performance. The solicitation will be made available on or about February 23, 2009 and will be posted to the General Services Opportunities website www.fbo.gov. Hard copies of this solicitation will not be made available. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is March 10, 2009. Each offeror is required per FAR 52.212-3 to complete their representations and certifications via the On-line Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) at orca.bpn.gov.
