- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F3ZT899034A002; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-30 Effective 17 Feb 2009, Defense DCN 20090115 effective January 15, 2009, and AFAC 2008-1217 effective Dec 17, 2008. This acquisition will is unrestricted; the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333911. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 2940. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 5084. The Small-Business Size Standard is 500 employees.. This request for quotation consists of the following requirements or equal. Racor RVFS-3-10C Fuel Filter/Water Separator assembly CLIN 0001: Provide Racor RVFS-3-10C Fuel Filter/Water Separator assembly or equivalent. Cost must include shipping to Travis AFB Ca 94535 Filter must have the capabilty to provide a flow rate of 75 gallons per minute (GPM) for Number two diesel fuel (DF-2). Housing must be capable of a pressure (pounds per square inch)of 245psi and have a pressure relief valve. Assembly must have a differential pressure gauge installed. Assembly must be capable of free standing but not to exceed 72 inches and have width not to exceed 16 inches because of space constraints. Assembly must come with two additional water separator filters and an installation kit if required. Quantity: 1 each. Award shall be made in the aggregate, all or none. The following provisions and/or clauses apply to this acquisition. Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in FAR FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items (Jan 1999): (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
