- REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) THE BUREAU OF THE PUBLIC DEBT (BPD) END-USER COMPUTER TRAINING SERVICES The Department of Treasury's Bureau of the Public Debt (BPD) is in the process of developing its end-user computer training courses for 2009 and potentially beyond. This request for information (RFI) is being sent to you so that BPD can assess the market and determine if small businesses possess the capabilities to teach various end-user courses to BPD employees. Training is estimated to begin immediately after contract award and will be needed in Parkersburg, West Virginia and Washington, DC. The length of training courses may vary depending upon the level of training required. Employee attendance in training courses generally ranges from 10-16 participants. The list of courses is: Courses Excel 2007 Level I (Basic) Excel 2007 Level II (Intermediate) Excel 2007 Level III (Advanced) Word 2007 Level I (Basic) Word 2007 Level II (Intermediate) Word 2007 Level III (Advanced) PowerPoint 2007 Level I (Basic) PowerPoint 2007 Level II (Intermediate) PowerPoint 2007 Level III (Advanced) Access 2007 Level I (Basic) Access 2007 Level II (Intermediate) Access 2007 Level III (Advanced) Project 2007 Level I (Basic) Project 2007 Level II (Intermediate) Project 2007 Level III (Advanced) Visio 2007 Level I (Basic) Visio 2007 Level II (Intermediate) The class dates shall be negotiated between the parties. All course instruction shall occur between the hours of 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. E.T. Interested vendors that can offer training for each of the courses listed,must provide their company's capability statement and any pertinent certifications. In addition, vendors must provide three (3) relevant past performance references that can be contacted and attest to their competencies. The contact information requested shall include at a minimum: Name of the organization; Primary point of contact (name and phone number); Brief description of the training conducted; and Dates of the training. If applicable, please provide information regarding current Government contract vehicles that your company has been awarded (ex. GSA). In order to determine if a set-aside is applicable, vendors must identify their business size classification (i.e. 8a, HUBZone, Service Disable Veteran Owned Small Business). PLEASE NOTE: The information being requested is for market research purposes only. The Government does not intend to award a contract based on the information received or otherwise pay for the information requested. BPD will assess the ability of the market to meet the needs as stated above based on the information received. Dependent upon the results of this market survey, BPD may subsequently issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to acquire end-user computer training courses. If you feel that your organization possesses the qualifications and an interest to provide this type of training, please send your RFI responses to psb2@bpd.treas.gov, attention Keri Moore. Your responses must be no more than 15 pages (includes any marketing information or resumes) and received no later than 2:00 p.m., E.T., Monday, March 16, 2009.
