- This requirement for Maintenance and Overhaul (M&O) of the subject item for the UH-60M aircraft. No surplus parts shall be used or applied. Swashplate, Quantity Range from 5 Each to 186 Each (FMS Quantity 31 Each) INPUT/OUTPUT NSN: 1615-01-558-9830 INPUT/OUTPUT P/N: 70104-08000-060 The proposed contractual action will be a five year M&O Requirements contract with quantities as stated above. The contractor shall furnish all depot level labor, facilities, tools, test equipment and materials for the overhaul. Authority cited is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1) FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy this agencys requirement. This item has been identified as a Critical Safety Item (CSI). Pursuant to the provisions of Public Law No. 108-136, National Defense Authorization Act Fiscal Year 2004, Section 802, Quality Control in Procurement of Aviation Critical Safety Items and Related Services, as implemented for acquisition by Department of Defense Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS 209-270), contracts for modification, repair, or overhaul of CSI items can only be awarded to a source approved by the head of the design control activity. This requirement is sole source because only the approved sources can be solicited. The Original Equipment Manufacturer is Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, 6900 Main Street, Stratford, CT 06614-1378 (CAGE: 78286) is the only approved source. The overhaul shall be accomplished in accordance with Contractor specifications. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of the solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign firms are reminded that all requests for solicitations must be processed through their respective embassies. All responsible sources that can perform the above effort may submit an offer that shall be considered by the Agency. This requirement is currently unfunded.
