- Description
- The work includes mobilization (including site preparation) and installation of temporary pumping system (including discharge piping), intermittent pumping of the levee and drainage district to maintain water levels to accomplish pump station repairs in the dry, and demobilization. The pumping system shall consist of large 30 inch to 48 inch submersible hydraulic driven axial flow pumps with trailer or skid mounted diesel driven power units. The total pumping capacity requirement for pumping system shall be a minimum of 50,000 gallons per minute at 20 feet of total dynamic head. The Contractor will have 14 days from award of contract to mobilize to the site, set up, and be ready to begin pumping operations. The contract may include options for additional pumping that could extend the contract by approximately 160 days. Additional information will be available in the solicitation, and posted to FBO.gov on or about February 26, 2009.
