- This is a modification to the pre-solicitation notice posted 9-Feb 2009. All interested parties must read the full pre-solicitation notice previously posted. Preliminary General Arrangement Drawings, MEL and GFE list are not available through http://www.dejongandlebet.comThe following replaces the previously posted instructions regarding receiving drawings. Upon request, all eligible offerors who intend to bid as a prime contractor will be provided copies of drawings, specifications, and data for purpose of preparing proposals in response to the upcoming solicitation. Anyone in receipt of this information must comply with the markings on the drawings and other data. After contract award, all unsuccessful Offerors will be required to return all copies of these drawings and other data, including any data provided to other business entities or subcontractors. The drawings and manuals are available on CD-ROM and will be FedEx'd to you upon request. The drawings on the CD-ROM are formatted in AutoCAD DWF Viewer. AutoCAD DWF Viewer is available for free download at www.Autodesk.com. The manuals are formatted in Adobe Acrobat. Adobe Acrobat is available for free download at www.adobe.com. To receive the CD/Drawings/Manuals, follow the directions below. Failure to follow these directions will, at best, delay your receipt of the CD, or, at worst, prevent your receiving them.Send an e-mail (no phone calls for drawing and manual requests will be honored) to the following addresses with the following subject line description and the other information requested: TO: march.bishop@navy.mil SUBJECT LINE: Oman HSV: Request for Drawings and Manuals.
