Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this procurement is F2E3CE8217A001a and this is a Request For Quotation (RFQ). The anticipated award will be a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The award will be made based on the Best Value to the Government. The solicitation shall incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-29. This acquisition is to be 100% set-aside and awarded to Small Business IAW FAR 19.502-2(a). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 327320. The Small Business size standard for this code is 500. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: CLIN 0001: 2 cubic yard load capacity, non-drum portable concrete combined mixer/hauler with pintle hook and hydraulic braking system. Unit must be outfitted with safety chains and required road lights. Tank must be constructed heavy gauge steel mixing tank with steel safety cover. Heavy duty hydraulic driven reversible mixing shaft with paddles. Mixing tank must tilt 25 degree minimum, with rear discharge capability and self storing unloading chute. Electric start gasoline or diesel 22 HP engine, to operate hydraulic system and attached 2500 PSI pressure washer. Pressure washer should have minimum of 30 gallon storage capacity and come with hose and nozzle. Unit must be equipped with heavy duty steel fenders, cat walk and necessary safety equipment. Unit should not be exceed 17 feet in length, 7 foot width and 6 foot 6 inches in height or 4700 pounds. Unit must come with one complete set of owners/operators manuals.
