- Description
- The Forest Service intends to issue a solicitation for the renovation of the Burning Coal Vein Campground located on the Medora Ranger District, Dakota Prairie Grasslands, Slope County, North Dakota. The work includes but is not limtied to renovation of an existing campground to upgrade to current accessibility standards consisting of the removal and disposal of sun shelters, picnic tables and fire grates, reconstruction and surfacing of campground roads, camping spurs and parking lots, construction of new camping spurs and picnic table/fire ring pads, reshaping and surfacing of campground access road and overlook road, construction and installation of a wood bulletin board with a concrete pad, construction and installation of a kiosk, construction of surfaced trails and walkway, installation of self closing gates and fences and removal and replacement of a cattleguard. There will not be a pre-bid tour of the site. Government estimated price range is between $100,000 to $250,000. A firm fixed price contract is expected to result from this solicitation. This project is set-aside for small business. Estimated start work date is May 1, 2009. The solicitatiaon will be issued via FedBizOpps as a request for proposal and will be availble for downloading on or about March 23, 2009.
