- solicitation N00421-1300121640 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). This action is set aside for small business. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on a sole source basis with Ultra Electronics. for the part numbers listed below, under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1. The manufacturer must be Ultra Electronics. The contract line item numbers and descriptions are **CLIN 0001 Quantity 8 ea P/N n/a PAPAS Radio Subsystem, CLIN 0002 Quantity 1 lt Ground Shipping Charges(IF apply), based on shipping to Patuxent River, MD 20670-1127. Award is expected 27 Feb 2008. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by 23 February 2009 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for any information received.
