- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Air Combat Electronic Program Office (PMA-209), intends to issue a firm-fixed-price order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-08-G-0016 with Rockwell Collins Government Systems (RCGS). NAVAIR is assigned responsibility for the planning, programming, budgeting, procurement, installation, operation, and support of the Air Combat Electronics programs. This order will provide for a quantity of twenty-six (26) RT Cooling Shrouds, P/N: 822-2725-001, for the AN/ARC-210(V) EP radios and/or components for CH-53. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. GENERAL INFORMATION: As Rockwell Collins is the sole developer of the ARC-210 Family of products and related ancillary equipment and maintain the proprietary rights to this radio, they are the only capable source of providing the equipment necessary to interface to the receiver-transmitters being installed on the various aircraft. Subcontracting opportunities may be available and should be sought with Rockwell Collins Government Systems at the following address: Rockwell Collins, 400 Collins Road NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52498. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for or award a contract, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties before award of a contract for the effort described above.
