- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, New Jersey (NAWCADLKE) intends to initiate a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N68335-09-G-0007 on a sole source basiswith AAI Corporation (Cage 97384) Hunt Valley, MD 21030-3342. The purpose of this agreement, and all subsequent delivery orders, is for Repair of Repairable (ROR) support and Spares procurement; to provide supplies and services in accordance with (IAW) BOA (N68335-09-G-0007), Statement of Work (SOW) for Intermediate Level H-1 Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE). The contractor shall provide to the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, all labor, equipment, material (including installation kits) and services necessary to repair, test and return to Ready For Issue (RFI) condition, either piece part components listed in Tables listed in SOW, or the entire end item, P/N 3239AS850-1 Boresight Adapter Set AH-1Z, P/N 3239AS900-1 Boresight Adapter Set UH-1Y, P/N 3239AS950-1 Boresight Adapter Set H-1 CTM, P/N 3239AS260-1 Boresight Adapter Unit, H-1 Cockpit Mapping and P/N 38413-40000-10, AH-1W Adapter Set. This will be a one time procurement with a 36 month period of performance. AAI Corporation is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), and is the sole designer and manufacturer, and as such, maintains the proprietary data required to fulfill the requirements of the PSE and related technical services. NAWCADLKE intends to procure under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c ) (1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The Navy does not own current data, drawings, or other specifications to permit full and open competition. However, all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
