- This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using simplified acquisition procedures for commercial items to procure YellowJacket B/A/N/G 802.11 signals identification and direction finding hand held devices,and training by HQ USAINSCOM, Directorate of Contracting. The Govt intends to award a sole source contract for the above product and services to Berkeley Veritronics System, Inc. Liberty Corporate Park 255 Liberty Street Metuchen, NJ 08840. NOTE: This firm is the sole developer as well as sole manufacturer/distributor of the Yellow Jacket. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. DELIVERY: March 25, 2009. All responses received within 5 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order/contract based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
