Description
The Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Fort Bragg intends to issue a solicitation for two (2) Strong Bonds Retreats for Military Families: 6-8 March 2009 and 3-4 April 2009, Southport, NC. The Contractor will be responsible for providing 20 (twenty) one bedroom condos and 20 (twenty) two bedroom condos to accommodate 80 adults. Check in will be 1:00 PM on 6 March 2009 and 3 April 2009 and check out time will be 1:00 PM on 8 March 2009 and 1:00 PM on 5 April 2009. One (1) conference room with audiovisual capabilities for 80 adults is required. One (1) conference room with audiovisual capabilities for children is required. Conference rooms must be modern, clean and available with the following items: The adult conference room shall have: One (1) six-foot table; one (1) podium; (one (1) projector screen; One (1) sound system with two (2) wireless microphones; (one (1) proxima/projector (must be able to support input from laptop computer and a DVD player). The childrens conference room shall have two (2) large TVs with two (2) DVD players. Refreshments will be required for both the adult and child conference rooms. Refreshments for the adult conference room shall consist of fruit, muffins, assorted pastries, coffee, juice and tea. Refreshments for the childrens conference rooms shall consist of fruit, muffins, assorted pastries, water, and juices. Meals will be required as follows for 80 adults and 30 children: Meals will be buffet for both adults and children and menu to be agreed upon after award. Facility must have in-house eating facility that can serve 80 adults and 30 children at one time. The contract type will be a firm fixed price contract. NAICS code is 721110 and size standard is $7 million. Once the solicitation is posted, it is the responsibility of the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. Offers received in response to the solicitation will be evaluated in accordance with procedures outlined in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13. Award will be made on the basis of the lowest evaluated price. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by this agency.
