- The project consists of the construction of a Structural-Plate Arch culvert on Forest Service Road No. 648 at mile post 2.5. This project involves the removal of an existing culvert and the replacement with a new 14’ span by 5’-7” rise Steel Structural Plate Arch culvert. Improvements consist of, but are not limited to, structural excavation, excavation and reshaping of the channel, placement of riprap, installation of precast concrete footings, embankment and excavation of the roadway approaches, and road surfacing. The project is located in the Clearwater Ranger District of the Nez Perce National Forest, approximately 24 miles east of Grangeville in Idaho County, Idaho (Section 2, Township 29 north, Range 4 east). Estimated price range for the project: $25,000-$100,000. Solicitation will be issued March or April, 2009.
