- Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. This is a requirement for the overhaul of various B1-B SMCSservocylinders. The contractor shall provide all labor, facilities,equipment and all material to accomplish overhaul, test, packing,preservation and packaging of the servocylinders. A firm fixed priceIndefinite Delivery/Indefinite Qauntity type contract is contemplated.The contract period will be five years. The items and quantities are asfollows: Item 0001: Overhaul NSN 1650-01-267-4462, P/N L5871400-081; SMCSservocylinder: Applicable to B1-B aircraft; Min 1 each, Max 40 each.Delivery Schedule: 1-2 ea per month beginning 45 DARO & Reparables Item 0002: Overhaul, Input as NSN 1650-01-267-4462, P/N L5871400-041and/or P/N L5871400-061, Output as NSN 1650-01-267-4462, P/NL5871400-081; SCMC servocylinder: Applicable to B1-B aircraft; Min 1each, Max 30 each. Delivery Schedule: 1-2 ea per month beginning 45DARO & ReparablesItem 0009: Over and Above Work; Item 0010: Data IAW DD1423s.Item 0011: Premium Funds for Accelerated Delivery Ship to Locations, are to be in accordance with instructions receivedfrom the Production Management Specialist prior to shipment(s). NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors orpotential offerors during the proposal development phase of thisacquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish theauthority of the program director or contracting officer, but tocommunicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, andrecommendations to the appropriate government personnel. Whenrequested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as tosource of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in theevaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
