Description
The Bureau of Indian Affairs, intends to purchase one (1) 2009 John Deere Cab Tractor, Model 6140D, and one (1) 2009 John Deere Model 563 Non-Self-Leveling Loader. Quote to include FOB Destination delivery to Bureau of Indian Affairs, Navajo Region, Division of Natural Resources, Bonita Drive, Building 251-3, Fort Defiance, Arizona 86504, no later than June 1, 2009. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. RMN00090019 herein cited as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The items will be procured under FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-29. This acquisition is a small business set-aside. NAICS Code: 333111, Small Business Size Standard: 500 employees. In accordance with DIAR 1452.210-70 and FAR 52.211-6, the items in this solicitation are identified as brand name or equal and salient characteristics are listed below. DELIVERY: After notice of award the vendor will have until June 1, 2009, to deliver the equipment to the Government at Bureau of Indian Affairs, Branch of Natural Resources, Bonita Drive, Building 251-3, Fort Defiance, Arizona 86504, Attention: Jim Dee at (505) 863-8253, or cell (505) 713-2875. INSPECTION: Inspection will be done when delivered to Bureau of Indian Affairs, Branch of Natural Resources, Fort Defiance, Arizona by Jim Dee, Rangeland Management Specialist. The tractor must pass inspection before acceptance.
