- This is a combined synopsis / solicitation for commercial items in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Written solicitation will be issued. The Directorate of Contracting, Fort Stewart, GA anticipates awarding a firm fixed price contract to provide Life Support (without food service) to a mobilizing unit located within the confines of Fort Stewart, Georgia. The Solicitation will be posted o/a 18 February, 2009 at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi Click on contracting opportunities search, enter W9124M% in to the solicitation number, click on the solicitation number at the bottom of the next screen, click attachments, click on pdf file and solicitation will open. A mandatory site survey will be conducted on 26 February, 2009 @ 08:00 a.m.. Contractors will meet at 08:00am on Thursday 26 February, 2009 at the 188th Brigade Conference Room 1239 Harmon Ave, bldg 9592, Fort Stewart, GA 31314. Recommend a 4x4 vehicle for site survey. Government will not be responsible for recovering stuck vehicles. Roads in the training area are extremely sandy and rough.
