- Description
- The US Army Corps of Engineers intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Pacific States Marine Fisheries, 205 SE Spokane St., Suite 100, Portland, Oregon 97202-6413 for biological services to provide quality assistance and fish sampling functions for the Corps of Engineers Juvenile Fish Transportation Program. Any firm that believes they can provide the service would need to have an Endangered Species Act Section 10 permit from the National Marine Fisheries Service. Also note that the Corp would need to acquire a permit from National Marine Fisheries Service with the vendors name on it. This can take up to several months which would not allow for sufficient time to start the contract when needed. A solicitation document is available through email request. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated capability is invited to submit written notification to the Contracting Specialist within ten calendar days from the date of publication of this notice. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the firms ability to provide the stated capability. Information can be sent to the Contract Specialist at: Walla Walla District Office, Contracting Division, 201 North 3rd, Walla Walla, WA 99362-1876 or by email to: Nona.R.Fincher@usace.army.mil. No telephone requests will be accepted. Responses received will be evaluated; however, determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, US Army Corps of Engineers will proceed with the sole source document.
