- The VA Central Iowa Health Care System Des Moines, Iowa intends to make a single award for the provision of various dairy products for the Knoxville Iowa location and the Des Moines Iowa location. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements type contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The contract period shall commence on April 1, 2009, and expire on March 31, 2010. With two option years. Deliveries will be made to both VA Central Iowa Healthcare System locations. The award will be made to the responsible quoter who submits the most advantageous quote to the Government based on price related factors only. The solicitation will be available on or about February 23, 2009 with anticipated award date of 1 April 2009, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available.
