- This is a 100% HUBZONE set-aside procurement and issued under NAICS code 237990. The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials and equipment, and constructing the Upper Yazoo Projects, Item 7A, Channel Improvement, in Tallahatchie County, Mississippi. Principal features of work include mobilization and demobilization, clearing for channel excavation, channel excavation, disposal areas, disposal of excavated materials, clearing and grubbing, stone ditch outlet protection, culvert scour protection, erosion control, storm water pollution prevention and environmental protection. The value of the proposed work is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. Plans and specifications will be available on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) Web Page at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Bidders may register on the Interested Vendors List (IVL) at http://www.fbo.gov/ and retrieve an IVL from the same location. Compact disc and hardcopies will not be available. Bidders should check often for changes (AMENDMENTS). A Pre-Bid conference will be held at Greenwood Area Office with date and time forthcoming. Issue date on or about March 09, 2009. Bid opening date on or about April 09, 2009. Funds are not presently available for this acquisition; therefore, bids will not be opened and contract award will not be made until all necessary funding is available.
