- The contractor will be required to work on a 3000 SF historic Courtroom in a 1930’s era US Courthouse. They will be required to provide architectural modifications to include floor trenches and carpeting repairs. The contractor will be required to provide electrical modifications to allow for a future contractor to provide electronic equipment. They will have to provide an A/C unit located on the second floor of a 3-story US Courthouse. The work will be completed during other than normal business hours. The estimated cost of the construction is between $0 and $75,000. The contractor will be required to obtain a GSA security clearance for all individuals working on site. If you are interested in bidding this project respond by email NO LATER THAN Monday, March 9, 2009, to Kathy. Routson@gsa.gov with your company name, contact person, address, phone number, fax number and DUNS number. You MUST state the Solicitation number if GS-06P-09-TN-C-0020. Proposal packages will be mailed to interested parties after that date and will be sent on a disc unless a hard copy is requested. There will be a walk-through of the project and this will be noted in your proposal package. All proposals submitted must allow 90 days for GSA acceptance. THIS REQUEST FOR SOLICITATION DOES NOT OBLIGATE THE GOVERNMENT TO MAKE AN AWARD.
