- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound intends to solicit, in support of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard (PSNS), to purchase TWO EACH AUTOMATED MEASURING TOOL SYSTEM TO REMOTELY MEASURE DISC TO SEAT CLEARANCE IN CONFINED HIGH RADIATION AREAS (HRA) USING 3D MACHINE VISION TECHNOLOGY. FOB Destination to PSNS, Bremerton, WA. Incidental services to include on-site vendor support to test and configure both systems for acceptance, and provide follow-on technical support via telephone, with standard commercial warranty support. Required delivery date is within 90 days after contract award. This requirement to be solicited using commercial, simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13.5 utilizing Low Price Technically Acceptable evaluation factors. The acquisition will be solicited anticipating award of a Firm, Fixed-Price Supply type contract. Numbered Note One applies - The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small business concerns.! This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: https://www.neco.navy.mil. The anticipated posting date of the solicitation is on or about 20 Feb 2009 with a closing on 06 Mar 2009. Complete specifications to be included in the solicitation. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. Prospective offerors should register themselves on the NECO website. No telephone requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or FAXed.
