- Description
- The proposed work is an Emergency Requirement due to public health, safety, and welfare. A six (6) calendar day turnaround has been established for interested small business firms to submit their bids. The Contractor shall furnish all plant, materials, labor, services, equipment, supervision, and performance necessary to remove and dispose existing damaged roof materials. Install new insulation, modified roofing membrane and metal fascia, gutters, downspouts, wall and pipe flashings. Project is located at Bureau of Indian Affairs, Chinle Agency, Chinle Boarding School, Many Farms, Arizona. This procurement is a total set aside for small business concerns. The estimated price range of this procurement is between $25,000 and $100,000. Bidders are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed. All interested firms shall submit a written request for a solicitation package to the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Division of Acquisition, Attention Ella M. Dempsey, 301 West Hill Street, P. O. Box 1060, Gallup, New Mexico 87305 or fax your request to the Attention of Ella M. Dempsey at (505) 863-8382. A Bid Bond of 20 percent of the bid price is required; and 100 percent Performance and Payment Bonds, and Certificate of Liability Insurance are required upon award. Telephone requests to obtain the solicitation package will not be accepted. The bid opening for Invitation For Bid (IFB) No. RMN00090017 is scheduled at 2:00 P.M. (local time), February 18, 2009, at BIA, Navajo Regional Office, Division of Acquisition, 301 W. Hill Ave., 3rd Floor, Conference Room No. 342, Gallup, New Mexico 87301. Faxed IFBs will not be accepted. Submit bid packages to the following address: BIA, Navajo Region, Division of Acquisition, Attn: Ella M. Dempsey, P.O. Box 1060, 301 W. Contract award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
