Description
Washington Headquarters Services Acquisition and Procurement Office intends to solicit on a sole source basis under the statutory authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition 10 USC 2304 (c)(1), implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements to HERGO Ergonomics Support System, Inc., 56-01 55th Avenue, Maspeth, NY 11378 for a Technician Workbench to match existing furniture located at the Pentagon. The Technician Workbench will be utilized as the analysis station for the technicians operating a very expensive technical security system which supports the entire Pentagon and particularly the Office of the Secretary and Deputy Secretary of Defense. The workbench will be added to an existing desk to provide additioan work space to accommodate Pentagon mission. Hergo Ergonomics Support Systems, Inc. would ensure best fit because of exisitng furniture previously purchased from the Contractor. The award will be from GSA FSS (GS-29F-0133G). THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. You may forward your companies Capability Statement. The capability statement shall include the following: a. Past Performance for same or similar projects; b. Dollar amount and volume of projects performed; c. Current Security Clearance status. Incomplete capability statements will not be honored. Request for copies of solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. Interested parties may identify their capabilities responding to this requirement, no later January 24, 2009 by 12:00 pm. All information submitted should be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses must be submitted by email (rodney.walters@whs.mil) or fax 703-696-4164. Responses must provide clear and concise documentation indicating an offerors bona fide capability to provide these items. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered.
